I hope you have been enjoying these Femme Friday interviews as much as I have. Femme Friday was conceived with a divine kiss & I thank God for all He has done through this series. I want to establish a community of women who inspire each other to create their own space and speak their hearts out.
I've been loving all of the wonderful advice and testimonies the women who have been featured thus far have been giving us. I thought that I should answer the questions myself so you can get an idea of who I am, where I come from, & why I put so much work into this.

What inspired you to create your own brand?
Golden Vessels came to life in the midst of a rocky time during my health journey. I was experiencing physical health issues & would not allow it to take a toll on my mental or spiritual health. I then realized that that is unfortunately a pit that many people fall into. I believe that our health is a balance of physical, mental, & spiritual wellness. Our health & happiness are directly linked. I wanted to start a discussion around this knowledge & share what things have helped me along the way.
Where do you wish to see your brand in the future?
I want to collaborate more with other creatives & see Golden Vessels open up more opportunities in my life. Golden Vessels isn't just a hobby. It is something I am very passionate about & I hope it grows, so I can see a community come together. I want a family that empathizes, empowers, & helps each other out.

What message are you trying to put out into the world with what you create?
I want people to know that they can be healthy & they can be happy. It takes work, but it is possible to have an amazing life. With Femme Friday, I am trying to show women that they have a voice that needs to be heard. Women hold such great value in the world. It's time we stand up & not back down no matter who tries to silence us. By featuring women of success, I am hoping that women who want to start their own brand or do their own thing will be inspired to do so.
What advice do you have for girls who are starting out?
Do not be intimidated by the success of those around you or the people you follow on social media. Instead, let it motivate you to get out there & do whatever it is you want to do. I suggest you create a mission statement, goals, & vision board (Pinterest is good enough). It's helpful to have your ideas out before you so you know why you want to do something & what you want to do with your ideas. This also makes it easier to make them happen. God gave you a voice, a gift, & a passion. Use it & use it for His glory.

What has been the greatest reward of all your hard work so far?
The greatest reward is whenever someone tells me that what I said in a video or blogpost is what they needed to hear. I am here because I want to help & I want to learn for myself as well. When I see that I am actually making an impact, even if it's just in one person's day, that makes it all worth it. It also has been so stellar to see women who have gone so far with their business, come & let their words sit on my corner of the internet. That is so humbling, yet gets me so stoked.
What is your definition of a “boss babe”?
My definition of a boss babe is someone who knows what she wants & goes after it. She is brave & bold. She is compassionate yet fierce. She is kind yet strong. She does not let anyone stand in her way yet she raises others up to walk with her.

Be happy, be healthy, be a Golden Vessel.
