Happy Femme Friday, babes!
It just so happens to be World Ocean Day & this week's feature is a well known ocean photographer here in the islands, as well as a friend of mine! Her photos & message inspire us to take care of the ocean & respect something much greater than ourselves. You may not have a brand in mind, but don't let that stop you from pursuing what you love. Asia did exactly that & it took her far along the way.

What inspired you to create your own brand?
Honestly, I never ‘decided’ to create a brand, I just decided to post some of my photography work and the rest fell into place.
What message are you trying to put out into the world with what you create?
I can’t say there’s one overarching message I try to push, but I do hope my photos inspire people to protect the ocean in any way they can and for girls to see it’s possible to have a beachy lifestyle brand, without having to focus primarily on their physical form to gain traction.

What do you tell yourself when you’re stuck in a rut?
I think the best way to avoid being ‘stuck in a rut’ is to continue stretching yourself with different types of photography work. I actually only post a very small part of what I do on social media.
What advice do you have for girls who are starting out?
For me, creating my “brand” was never my main focus; being a successful photographer was the goal. I’d say to just focus on what you love and are passionate about and get ready to put in a lot of hard work.

What has been the greatest reward of all your hard work so far?
Just seeing my business expand every year, looking back and realizing how many different experiences I’ve been able to enjoy because of what I do, and thinking about all of the people I’ve been able to meet.
What is your definition of a “boss babe”?
Someone whose taken the risk of starting their own business and is hustling to make it happen :)
