Boss Babe: Someone who looks outside of themselves and confidently seeks opportunities to grow.
Olivia & I are both education majors at my university. She has such a presence on campus. There is nothing that this girl cannot do. I hope you are inspired by her go-getter attitude. You'll find that her responses are full of great Instagram quotes.
What inspired you to create your own brand?
Although I do not have my own “brand,” I feel as if one of the huge things that inspires me is nature. When I spend time with God in His creation, I am recharged, inspired, and motivated. It is so important to seek out how you recharge and what inspires you personally.

What message are you trying to put out into the world with what you create?
I want to create a presence that makes others feel fully accepted, included, loved, and a sense of belonging. God has placed a passionate desire in my life to welcome others and present them with the opportunity to belong. Jesus lived his life in a manner of hospitality, welcoming those who do not usually fit in, which is so inspiring to create a lifestyle that invites others into.
What do you tell yourself when you’re stuck in a rut?
Going through the motions. Stagnant. Surviving, not thriving. Feeling as if you are running through life on a treadmill, not getting anywhere.
I bet y’all can relate to these feelings. When I get in this place, I remind myself why I started doing what I am doing in the first place. A lot of times I can get stuck in the day to day to-do lists and forget my passion. One thing I do is create a “mission statement,” reevaluate the purpose or goal of what I am doing, or listen to a song that has inspired my passions. Once I am reminded why I started in the first place, I lose my apathetic spirit and gain enthusiasm.

What advice do you have for girls who are starting out?
Find what you are passionate about and go from there. Try new things. Join an organization or group. Watercolor. Evaluate social justice issues. Share your story with someone and ask what theirs is. Go rock climbing. Step outside of the box and find things that God has made you passionate about.
What is your definition of a “boss babe”?
Someone who looks outside of themselves and confidently seeks opportunities to grow.

Why is it important for girls to find their own voice and share it with the world?
God has given you a voice, and that voice matters! Confidently proclaim the message that is on your heart. Do not allow others to silence you. Discover what you are passionate about and strive to love others through that passion.
