Winter Bucket List

I am writing this, wearing my Christmas PJ pants, as I refuse to wear anything else. Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters croon Here Comes Santa Claus while I shove a spoonful of cookie into my face and down it with a mug of almond milk. Snowflakes fall softly onto my windowpane and paint the town around me with the purest shade of white. "Simply having a wonderful Christmastime," my buddy Paul says it best.

Coming from a tropical island, I never experienced winter before moving to the midwest last year. I didn't get the chance to do the classic winter things, so this year I am compiling a bucket list of things to do to make my mom's hallmark dreams come true. I also thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite Christmassy things and share some of the Christmas magic.

Bucket List

• Build a snowman

• Have a snowball fight with mad Buddy skills

• Go ice skating at an outdoor rink

• Volunteer with an organization to spread the Christmas cheer

• Attend a Christmas concert/show

• Go skiing/snowboarding

• Drink hot coca fireside while the snow falls outside

• Go Christmas caroling

• Record a couple Christmas duets and post them online

• Film Winter Vibes short film

• Go sledding

• Spend a night looking at Christmas lights

• Watch classic Christmas films

• Stick to a 31 day photo challenge in the month of December

• Slay the rest of 2019
