I started following Adelia on Instagram recently & I was immediately drawn in. She brings so much light & positivity to her little corner of IG & her energy is contagious. I HAD to have her come & share her insight with us!
What inspired you to create your own brand?
I had been creating content for a while but finally started my blog and personal brand in January 2018 when I was supposed to be studying for the MCAT. I was alone in my college apartment when I decided to sit down and write out my goals for the next few years and I realized that creating content and sharing my story were two important things I wanted to accomplish that I had not necessarily been working towards. So I decided to change my course and start a website!

Where do you wish to see your brand in the future?
I honestly want to keep growing until this becomes an empire. Beyond just encouraging and inspiring people I want to help them with innovative merchandise, philanthropy, and other exciting projects.
What message are you trying to put out into the world with what you create?
I want to instill confidence and strength in my viewers. A lot of what I share revolves around my personal lifestyle but that is not the core of what I am getting at. I want to teach people to value and respect themselves, to love their bodies as they are, and to act in a way that is kind and positive.

What advice do you have for girls who are starting out?
Be consistent and reach out. What this looks like could be scheduling to post 3-7 times a week, posting daily content like food, workouts, or just saying good morning, and then complimenting other creatives on social media or just fearlessly emailing people you want to work with!
Who is the audience you wish to reach with your content?
Young girls. A lot of my audience is my age and It is important to have someone who can relate to the life of a post-grad twenty-something, but I want to reach those who do not know who they want to be yet, and need guidance regarding confidence and wellbeing.

What is your definition of success?
Success comes in many forms and we view it in so many ways. When I look at some of my favorite creators who I consider successful, I see that they all took something that was unique to them, and worked like crazy to make it something great. So my definition of success relies heavily on the hard work part.
Do you have anything else you’d like to say?
I just want to say a quick thank you for this opportunity! The best part about this business is how willing we are to lift each other up using our unique talents!
